Is anyone going to the Halkirk games... hopefully I won't be a complete loner? |

Not I - it was great last year but the 100 TT is the very next day and much as I'd love to I can't do both.
One word of warning though ... the corner out of the starting straight is a wee bit uphill - not a lot but 10 and more laps of it will have you out of the saddle each time ! |

Hi Ian, I won't be there but I think Kyle Gordon may go. I suspect there will be a few of the boys from the South. BIG prize money!
Best advice..........Go like F... in the 800m |

Mental. There were some pretty fast guys there - i just didn't have that final kick - but it was probably the best training session i've done all year... legs well sore now.
It was very wet and the track was very slippery. Three falls in all - Kyle managed two in back to back races. He did well none-the-less and won a race and would have finished second in another had he not fallen. My best place was 5th in the 2000m Scot champs, which was strangly one of the stratch events.
Thoroughly enjoyed it despite the poor results - roll on Dornoch!
What happened to you in the 100? Nothing bad i hope? Carlos was flying i see. |

You did very well Ian, as did Kyle. It's good to race with these guys just so see how fast it is.
Another matter. Now that you are a Scottish Champion, in order to avoid those awkward social moments when we meet on Friday, how would you wish to be addressed? "Sir","Your Highness", "Your Magnificence", "Oh Great One"?
To further ensure correct etiquette, how much should we bow to display our subservience? |

They might at least have given him a box to stand on ... !
28's a really good one of Tim: one of those "GRR" moments. |
